Madrid to Hamburg on Kodak Vision 250D

at the end of december i took a window seat flight from madrid to hamburg and took advantage of some great views with a long lens and a roll of cinematic kodak vision 250D.

This isn’t a long post and the subject matter is pretty simple: airports, airplanes, window seat views. Shot on an end of December trip from Madrid to Hamburg I enjoyed some wonderfully clear views on the 3 hour trip and luckily had a window seat. I made great use of my Leica 135mm long lens and tried out a re-spooled Kodak Vision 250D cinematic film.

I really love the lighting in this shot.

Some mid air shots - I particularly like the arrival into Hamburg where you can first see the enormous Airbus factory and afterwards the famous Elbe river including the Hamburg Elbphilarmonie concert hall.

overall observations

I never have a huge amount of commentary to make about in-air shots, although I am always surprised how quickly I can run through a roll of 35mm film by simply taking airplane shots! I hope you enjoyed these shots as much as I did.

Thanks for stopping by,

Neil
